QUESTIONS ABOUT THE JEWELRY
WHAT IS FUSED ARTGLASS AND HOW IS IT CREATED?
The art of fusing or "kiln fired" glass is the process of bonding together pieces of artglass of different colors , shapes, and sizes to produce an original work of art . To see a demonstration of the process I go through, click below to follow one of my pendants from start to finish in my studio setting.

ARE YOUR GLASS PENDANTS DURABLE?
The answer to this is most certainly YES! When properly "annealed" in my computer controlled kiln, this glass is as durable as any of the semi precious gemstone pendants you will find in high end stores such as onyx, amethyst, and jade . Annealing is the process of uniformly heating and maintaining the temperature long enough to relieve any stress induced by the melting phase of the fusing.
The annealing cycle also includes cooling the glass to room temperature slowly enough to alleviate additional stress.
Every piece of glass no matter how many trips it makes through my kiln (aka "HOTTIE") is annealed each and every heating cycle.
ARE YOUR PENDANTS AND FINISHED JEWELRY DESIGNS SIGNED?
Yes, every piece has either been engraved into the glass or an impression in the silver has been made with the word "GRAFFITI".
WILL YOU CUSTOM SIZE A NECKLACE OR BRACELET?
Almost all of my one of kind pieces I design so that I can have the ability to easily customize the sizing to fit the customer's needs.
On a rare occasion there will be a sculptural neckpiece that has no room for adjustment, where restringing or changing the length could affect the way the item hangs on the neck.
HOW DO I STORE AND PROTECT MY ORIGINAL NECKPIECE THAT I PURCHASED FROM YOU?
I make this all very easy for you...each of my large PREMIER neckpieces come complete with a gorgeous presentation folder with an anti tarnish strip tucked inside.... and a signed certificate of authenticity. The folder will keep your pieces looking perfect and it is fantastic for travel as well.
If there is a lot of sterling in your piece you can replace the anti tarnish strip inside the folder once or twice a year to keep the silver shiny and like new while not being worn.
DO YOU ACCEPT CUSTOM ORDERS?
I am not currently filling custom orders but please let me know what it is you are looking for and I will be happy to see what I can do to help you out. You never know what is lurking in my studio that might fit your designing needs.
