NOUVEAU RICHE- CLICK HERE TO VIEW VIDEO DESCRIPTION IN A NEW WINDOW Nouveau Riche is so stunningly beautiful …I started with the backdrop of a wonderful necklace that I brought home from one of my trip overseas trips to in Istanbul Turkey… and the little chow was sculpted to match the styling of this exotic neckpiece Once the sculpture was finished and fired, I then covered the surface in many many layers of matte silver finish then used polyurethane over-the-top for a permanent finish All the leaves were sculpted at the same time A chubby paw drapes over the top of a huge vintage Swarovski crystal in very icy purple tones and more small purple Swarovski's were added behind the Chow and into the necklace portion A chain tassel swings freely behind the Chow pendant for lots of movement and the frame of charms and connectors above the main pendant give this Statement necklace such an exotic feel. The gorgeous silver chow is hand sculpted from polymer clay, and finished over the surface with real Silverleaf which I then crackled to give it a very old world appearance Her little paw drapes over the edge of the crescent shaped centerpiece Despite her larger size , this piece is extremely lightweight and airy to wear This is one of those designs that makes a jaw dropping statement wherever you go. Dressed up or down it doesn't matter ....she goes just as beautifully with that little black dresses she does jeans and a T-shirt.
